Monday, the 28th.
Howdy folks. Is been a week since last post. Not in time, maybe, but certainly in intensity. The new client is . . . well, frankly, a lot of work and very little turn around time. Ah, but that's all part of the glamor of the graphics industry.
"If we had wanted it tomorrow we would have TOLD you tomorrow . . . . ."
But its hard to complain when your mouth is full so I'll not do so but just be thankful for the work.
But I don't want it to keep me from here and all the lovely SGs and there have certainly been some this week . . . thank you ladies.
Here are a few things from my vault I thought I would share with you good people.
Launching of a balloon north of Houston, Texas. This was shot on film a number of years ago and one of the few slides I have had scanned to digital. I love this view though.

And, a strange being I saw in my back yard a few weeks ago. Although I was a little reluctant to get too close since she was armed (and no doubt dangerous) I DID manage to get this image of her.

And this week's Photoshop fun starts with this image of a snail,

Which became the sporting event of the month:

Which ran with the caption:
"Tune in next week, sports fans, for the exciting conclusion to today's relay event!"
I always tried to include some humor in my "chops".
All snails were created from the one snail. The fence was one section trimmed and then duplicated. The baton was a photograph of an actual baton. (Got to think in terms of authenticity) The track, grass, and pennants were all created in Photoshop.
I had a lot of time on my hands at this point in my life.
Oh, and no actual snails were injured in the production of the above "chop".
Well, once again, thanks for visiting. Have a great week. And remember, if your ex stops by and starts to give you shit, just tell her/him that you have been listening real closely to what your Rice Crispies have been telling you. That should put an end to THAT scene.
Ciao, Y'all.
