I have decided to make a concerted effort to take life less seriously. In fact, I want to have as little seriousity as possible in my life, except when it comes to school.
I'm aware this may cause me to lose some friends who feel I'm not taking their emotions seriously enough but I have come to realize that most of my friends are dramatic fucks. I've been perplexed about why I seem to attract such dramatic people into my life all the time, but I'm realizing it may just be because I validate that way of being in my "caring" for others. To which I give a big middle finger.
Yes, I think you should care about others. But there's showing your respect and then there's letting their emotions rule your life. And I'm not down with the latter.
