My ears are still ringing from the fucking awesome Nekromantix and Lower Class Brats show I went to last night in Orangevale. I've decided I like going to shows out here in the country much more than in SF because everyone's a lot more friendly and a lot less "cooler than thou". I was right in the front for Nekromantix and I got very up close and personal with the guitarist, who was fucking amazing by the way. They have one of the best stage shows for a band I've every seen. It was fucking amazing. Though, side note, I kept on getting punched on my new tattoo which hurt like a bitch. Worth it.
Today is a little holiday we in Davis like to call Picnic Day. It's a day to get drunk on campus. I'm not too sure yet as to what I'm going to do. I know I have a bottle of malibu waiting for me somewhere (because I'm a fucking female) but I don't know if I'm in the mood to get drunk and sleazy. Tomorrow is the best holiday ever, 4 20. For which I will hopefully be getting some edibles. Then monday I'm going to see Teagan and Sara. Very exciting. And then tuesday is capitol day where I will be lobbying CA Senator Darrell Steinberg about reproductive health rights. And in the midst of all this I have to write two papers.
