Such a long week! I was too busy on Wednesday to stop by my local comic shop but I was finally able to get my shit today. I got the new buffy 13 (I had no idea Dracula was so racist), Echo (Terry Moore's new series that my shop finally got in....I'm waiting for it to get good), the fifth Fables trade Mean Seasons (great series if you don't already know about it), X-23: Target X, and Ghost World. Pretty good haul, even though I should totally be doing reading for my classes and I'm in ridiculous debt already. On the job front, I had an interview on Monday for the bookstore and I'm having an interview this upcoming Monday for a desk job. I'm also gonna start working at the radio station this week, which is exciting. And then I'm also working on petitioning for an initiative to amend the Three Strikes Law (we all know it's fucked up....trying to chip away at it by denying its use for non violent felonies). I think about all the shit I have to do and I just want to sleep. But I already sleep too much.
Tonight I'm going to quite a few parties to make up for the horrendous week. There's a party at the gay frat, which is always my thing. I love my gay men, even if it means not meeting anyone interested in fucking me. Then we're going to the hippie domes late and seeing what craziness goes down.
