Our heater isn't working, or my roommate didn't pay the bill so the house isn't much warmer than it is outside. The gauge reads 60, but it doesn't go below 60 and from where I'm sitting that estimate is optimistic. Whatever the case may be he didn't find time before going to work at 1PM to check with the gas company. There aren't any bills around so I can't get the account number to call them to find out and I can't call the land lady, because I feel she will be unsympathetic to my cries "Our heater is broken, or my roommate is a bum."
