My sister and a friend of hers just drove up from the Bay today. It's so cool having her here. Unfortunately I won't be able to spend too much time with her with work and all . But, I am taking a RIF (reduction in force) day on Wednesday; so I'll get to spend some time with them at least.

Other than that, things are going ok. Work is slow right now, lots of our customers are totally reducing their requests due to lack of demand. We actually just had to lay 27 people off on Friday. It sucks. The company is really cool and the owners really value their employees, so much so that in our last company meeting one of the owners broke down in tears because of the upcoming layoff.

Anyways, sorry for the downer....

Other news: Got a new DnD crew together. These people are really a lot of fun to play with. The hard part is, as with most groups, getting everyone together. I don't really have a lot to do most nights, but my buddies seem to always have stuff going on (poker, hockey, etc.). Oh well....
