well...i got 70% of my vision back.
you might say 70%, well, that's pretty good. but it's not. it means they took me from a -10.5 and -10 to a -3.5 and -3, left and right eye respectively. it means i still need correctiv elenses. all the time. and what's making the whole thing worse is the 'lasik place of hell' (which i will refer to again in a later chapter of my tale) is not able to give me a proper vision script. meaning the glasses i am wearing are a best guess put together by my loving optician to get me through the next month or so.
some might call the whole experience simply bad, not what you had hoped for. some say the road to healing is long and i shouldn't be so negative, but i can't drive.
i can't read.
i can hardly see the tv.
and that's with the glasses.
i'm not at all happy.
i stayed as doped up as i possibly could this weekend. i don't get to go on 'benders' often, so i took full advantage.
and you might think that karma doesn't come back in the same lifetime, but i'd disagree. i feel this is karmic retribution.
at some point over the next few days, i'll put the whole sordid deal into word and post it here.

I've only known you for a short while , but there is absolutely NOTHING that you could have EVER done to deserve some sort of fucked up karmic retribution . You don't deserve this . at all .
Now buck up little trooper . Things will turn out okay , I'm sure of it . I know it's small consolation , but I'm sure that there is no shortage of people who would gladly escort you around if you need rides anywhere . Myself being one of them . If you need anything , feel free to give me a call .
