on thursday morning, at 11:30, i will be having prk. i've come to realize that, should something go wrong, i only REALLY know the first row of letters on a keyboard. which means my updates could look like this:

i'm so anxious about tomorrow that i'm throwing up. the usual chewing of my cheek has evolved into knawing, leaving my lower lip bloody. guess i should start taking the xanax i've been stockpiling now.
on the drive in today, i looked at the US Steel building and wondered if it was the last time i would see it. which has led me to close my eyes every so often to confirm that i can picture the people and animals in my life that mean so much in the event i can't actually see them again. i know, i know...it's silly. they do millions of these procedures a year. but these are MY eyes. they suck, but they are the only eyes i have.
