it's 1:30 in the afternoon and thanks to Jody at Park House, i am drunk. i love Jody. it's not often i see myself with a woman, but Jody is the exception to that rule.
and you (assuming you are still out there) are the exception to all of my rules.
yesterday was mom's 52nd birthday. this brought me to the realization that mom and dad are getting old. (dad's 62!) when i was younger, i never envisioned a life after age 16. i was confident that i would be dead by then. but now, i am 27 and my parents are getting old. i'm an only child and they are the only real family i have and they are getting old.
i don't like this realization.
