Antiestablishmentarianism

Such a long word that really means no,
to rebel, to break rules, convention the foe.
When you see a big word it sticks in the mind,
definitions and meanings and concepts combined.
Each generation, breaking the mould,
rediscovering truths, repainting the old.


Bombarded with words, pictures and sounds,
creativity and morality straining its bound.
Masses like sheep with film stars and leaders,
fashions, sports, brands, controlling the medias.
Unspoken forgotten the workers, the peons,
road sweepers, janitors, labelled plebeians.


Where limos are stretched and burgers are maxed,
materialism drives with contentment relaxed.
Sweets and clothes and all manner of toys,
barbies for girls and race cars for boys.
In a world that gives value to size and to speed,
is it surprising that we're drowning in greed.


But with love, words and whit, I am told and amused ,
that though size may matter, its more how its used.
Thrusting, teasing, explicit innuendo,
rhythm variation, advancing crescendo.
So never forget when small things are dropped the
the details and perfection is cracked. Huh huh ?
