Chuck is in Vancouver this weekend so it's just Lulu and me taking care of the place. All the dog does is sleep so it's not like it needs a great deal of attention. Serious chick magnet though when I took it out for a walk yesterday. I may not want to give Lulu back.
Had another practice recital yesterday with a few students. It went pretty good and I played a different song as well. It's really helping me get used to performing in front of other people and not worrying about hitting the occasional wrong note. You always seem to be far more critical of your own perfomance than you are of others and that's how you end up really getting fucked up when you play a piece.
In keepng with the whole Clasical theme for yesterday I went to the opera last night with my Mum. It was Puccini's "Tosca", a true bummer of a story. Oh sure the bad guy gets offed but so do both the heroes. In fact there is death all around. Huh, and they say video games are violent. Really good performance especially from the male lead. Of course being seated next to a hottie in her 20's helped. Some one to talk to during the intermission instead of just my Mum.
Off to the archery range this morning for sure and then to clean the place when I get back.
