Never thought I'd be happy to wake up to rain but after the cold and snow of the past two weeks it's great to get normal Victoria weather again.

Had a good weekend if it was busy. angelvanilla and fenris23 were over from Vancouver and I met them for lunch. Sushi of course. Glad the two of them were able to come over in spite of all that's happened recently for angelvanilla.
Then it was off to Angelo's for 4 hours of mixing. I found out that the first song is already up on the band's website. Click on the name and when the picture of the amp comes up look for the knob marked mp3's. Can't say I'm too pleased becuase I had told them to hold off untill we made sure it sounded allright coming out of computer speakers. The room we are mixing in is not acoustically tuned so the mix sounds different where and how it's played.
After that it was back downtown for chrisnail_and_i"s going away party at Rebar and Lucky. Photo's will be coming, just haven't had a chance yet to get them all fixed up. At this time it had snowed in Victoria and taxi's where running around like mad. Said my goodbye's and went off in search of one. Pretty much lucked out and caught one droping people off just down from Lucky.
Sunday was spent going to, being at and returning from a meeting which was missing half the people due to the snow the night before. You'd think nothing could get done cause the people missing were the ones who were meant to moderating but this wasn't the case. Once the inmates were allowed to run the asylum things went smoothly for the first time in months. Go figure.
Phew....
