Phew.....my wallet was at work. No, I wasn't the kid who had to have his mittens pinned to his jacket. That's probably why I was so anxious, I don't usually lose things. Anyways I 'm glad it turned out okay and thank you all for your sympathy
I've got today off so I think I'll spend the morning practicing piano. I bought two CD's with piano concertos by Mozart on them so I'm fired up to learn how to play better. I accept the fact that I'll probably never attain the level of the the great virtuosos, I started too late, but that's no reason not to do the best I can.
I'm over at Angelo's latter today. I think he realises now how long and drawn out doing a proper mix takes. I spent 3 hours on Monday and barely scatched the surface and that's just cleaning up the tracks. Fortunatley time is the one thing there is lot's of since this is all taking place in his basement and no a professional studio which would be charging $100 an hour.
The other thing I've got to do is take apart my sword and wedge a strip of metal between the tsuka(hilt) and the habaki (a metal sleve on the sword). I'm a little confused since I've never done this before and I don't have the proper tools to remove the mekugi (a bamboo pin holding the blade to the handle) so I have to improvise. I can see myself showing up to Iaido on Wednsday with my sword in pieces .
