Ugggg I am sick. Sick to the point I'm having a hard time breathing so I think I'm going to go in late to work, consequences be damned.
Yesterday a truck ran over a fire hydrant in front of my work and I swear it was a flood of near biblical proportions. There is an extremely steep incline from the road down to the loading bay so all the water was pooling infront of our building. Within 10 minutes it must have three feet deep in some places. The sales staff get to park near the building so all of their luxury cars where getting filled with water. Sucks for them but I kind of find it funny. The Fire Department showed up to turn off the water main as I was leaving so I didn't get asked to help stay and pump out the parking lot.
Couldn't have anyways cause I was going over to Angelo's last night for food and some recording. Took two hours to get one guitar solo done and it's still not quite there. Too much flash and not enough Jimi Hendrix. Good enough for now though so on Friday get to start the long and painful process of mixing all this stuff.
I'm going back to bed. Hope everyone else feels better than I do today.
