Nice balance this weekend. On Saturday I went to the Aikido seminar for three of the classes. I definetly noticed an improvement in myself. Still suck but I wasn't standing there looking confused the whole time as I have previously at these things. People from my Dojo went out to celebrate those who had passed their tests but I skipped out. I was too tired to deal with bussing downtown and then getting back.
As a counterpoint to being thrown on my ass all day Saturday I spent most of my Sunday sitting on my ass at a monthly meeting I attend. Lots of fun, not only did we have to deal with the regular business but elections for various positions where being held which required some pretty serious questioning of the canidates. If you think Bush and Kerry hav got it bad you ain't seen nothing.
Going to Angelo the Skipper and Lauree's place for dinner tonight. Angelo and are going to spend some time getting the studio set up. Wished we had $5000 to finish off the rooms properly with acoustic treatment though. We'll have to Mcgyuver something because I want this recording seesion to sound kick ass.
