At Aikido last night my Sensei informs me that he wants me to test this weekend at UVIC. . I had not expected this nor do I feel I'm ready. I should be in England right now, not worrying about making an ass of myself in front of a bunch of people. I'm going to try anyways so it means I skip Iaido tonight to make sure I can get an extra practice in as there are two techniques that I really suck at, and I mean really.
Of course knowing all this self-defense would be helpfull if I have a repeat of my bus ride last night. There was a fist fight on a fully packed bus. Didn't last long because it was kind of pointless, it's hard to swing when everyone is packed in like sardines. I'm not too sure what started it as I was listening to Slayer while the fight broke out. I was laughing though. There was this little guy who was hiding behind this tough guy throwing taunts at the other person. Straight out of a cartoon or something. The only good thing is that once the morons had left the the bus I was rolling my eyes and laughing at them with a pretty girl next to me.
Archery is done for me for now, no more arrows Broke my last two yesterday. Got more on order and they should be here by the begining of next week. The next dozen should last a little longer as my accuracy has improved somewhat and I won't be launching them towards the forest by accident. Good for the arrows and the squirrels
