Waiting for my brother to stop by for dinner. He flew in from Alberta last night, gets packed and flies to England for the wedding on Friday(yes I'm jealous). It'll be good to see him and I'll finally be able to get the money for all the stuff he asked me to buy him off of Ebay. He's waaayyy worse than I am, it's almost an addiction with him.
Had one of those days at work where it just seems to never end. Nothing really happened and I think that was the problem. I was busy but I was so bored by the end of the day I couldn't wait to get away. I think I set a new land speed record on my bike fleeing the place.
Speaking of my bike, I've been noticing the back tire's been wobbling so I took a look at it. Shit, the thing was frayed all around the rim with a big chuck missing where it has worn away
. How the tire hasn't gone on me I don't know. Guess I'll be buying a new tire before I ride the bike again.

it was the craziest thing. we got there and there was no line. zero. nothing. by the time someone came to seat us, there were a dozen people behind us and it stayed that way, with folks lining up outside, until the time we left. good kharma, i guess... or dumb luck.

I know what you mean. I was talking to my mom about my car situation and she had a hard time believing that I could live without a car. hehe
