What I learned this weekend.

1)That Ancient Egyptian mummies are kind of creepy and that real hieroglyphics look way cooler than reproductions. This I learned at the Ancient Egyptian exibit on loan from the Royal museum to ours. Something rather unsettling looking at the mummified remains of a ten year old boy. I kept expecting it to open it's eyes and start pounding in the case

2)That Claire Danes needs to get a better agent. I saw T3 and although Arnold was fine in it I know she can do better in the way of material. Liked the ending though.

3)Finally, that some people are kind of stupid and have no sense of self preservation. Like the fool at the archery range yesterday who talking on his cell phone while walking behind the targets. We aren't all Robin Hood out there and that's a big no no. It took repeated shouts and yells before he got the message. Sure, he didn't speak English very well but saftey and common sense is a universal language.
