No go on the trip to England.
The extra documents I'd sent were recieved back on July 27 and have been sitting in a department ever since. Supposedly whoever was meant to look at them has been on vacation and won't be able to look at the application untill Sept 1 at the earliest. I'm pretty frustated, not at anyone inparticular, but at the system and the situation. I realise I've only got myself to blame for having to do all of this and I can accept that. What I get frustrated about is that it would be a lot easier to take if the application would just come back with a big DENIED stamped on it.Not all of this waiting, which has less to do with me and more to do with the system. I'm still going to take the two weeks off though. Maybe I can manage to organise that trip down Vancouver Island that I wanted to do.
In better news I heard back from Elisabeth in regards to piano lessons. It's going to be tight managing to get to Aikido after but I'll talk to my Sensei and see if it'll be a problem if I'm late to class by a few minutes. Looking forward to doing piano this year. Hopefully I'll be ready to do the Grade 9 exam in December.
