Just when I thought I could take a break from recording that band I'm working with I've been roped back in again. They decided to use what was recorded for their website after all, so now everything has got to be mixed and converted to mp3. Spent 3 hours trying to get the toms sounding half decent and still I don't think they're all that hot. Oh well, at least it's some extra cash and I like doing this kind of stuff.
In other news I did my tax return and am getting the BIG $40 return. Actually quite happy about that. Last year I owed $1000 which was a real kick in the teeth at the time. That taught me it's not worth working two jobs.
