I'm finding it kind of ironic that I'm spending most of my days at work now using a computer that has an Internet connection but I have less time during the week to go online.
New position is going great, asides from some differences of opinion on how best to do my with immediate bosses. I'm starting to realise thy don't have a clue what they are doing and are in fact causing more problems than they are solving. It's the solving these problems, of course, that they gave me this job. I really should tell them to sit quietly in the corner and not touch anything.
Other than work it's been a pretty good couple of weeks. I've decided to rent some studio time in the the new year to record a song I've written. I could record it myself but I really want to concentrate on being a musician and not have to worry about which cord is going where. I have already lined up some local musicians to play on it , with the understanding it's going to still be a few months down the road at the earliest. Looking forward to the recording because it's going to bring me a sense of closure with some unfinished business I still have hanging over my head from the old band I used to play in.
