Well the party was fun....
Unfortunately I fell into the greasepit in Angelo's workshop and fucked my knee up pretty badly. Nothing broken but the doctor I saw figures I tore some ligements and possibly damaged the cartilage so no work for me for the week. I did go in to the warehouse yesterday and tried to stick it out but since I can't walk, a hobble at best, there was really nothing they could get me to do.

Oh well...time to catch up on daytime tv.

Apart from the pain, the weeekend also gave me a reminder how small this city is. Angelo got called to do some work on a house and it turns out that the man who owns it is Murray, the drummer who played in my old band from ten years ago. Not only that, but when we got talking it turned out that Kevin, the guy who plays bass with Angelo, has known Murray since they were kids. Kinda of weird.
Anyways Murray invited Angelo and I to go over and visit him sometime and check out the studio where he teaches drums. Be great to reconnect with him because good drummers are few and far between in the city.
