Leave for England for 9 days tomorrow 
It'll be the first real vacation I've had in eight years so I'm looking forward to it. Mostly for a family reunion, my Grandmother is going to be 90, but I'm going to try and get some hiking in while I'm there.
Good time to be going because I've got a feeling shits going to hit the fan at work next week. An unwarranted layoff for one of my co-workers which will be seen as racism is being planned because the Manager wants to save money in the budget so they can have a bigger bonus. A BIG pile of crap in my opinion anf hopefully it won't take place. If it does I'll probaly quit myself and explain my reasons for doing so to the owner. Sorry, but some things are worth sacrificing for.
Did manage on the long weekend to find time to work on some of my own songs. I didn't keep anything I recorded because I can do better. I did get some really great ideas though,so when I get back I'm going to dive right in. I'm going to have Saturdays free for the next few months now that Piano lessons are finished and Angelo is moving so asides from finding a new place to live I'll have lots more me time. Which is good ...unless I get bored.

I hope things go better than you are predicting at your job, it would be nice to have that still there when you come home but I also hear where you are coming from, some things are more important.
