Thanks for stopping by to say hello...it was the highlight of my day. Good luck with the veggies...there's nothing like fresh, homegrown. When I lived in Washington years back, it was all about mushrooms...we used to hike up these chronically moist mountains to pick "shepherd's manes". But please don't smoke. Later, Chick.

I hate to have such a negative view of the anti-war belief, but people forget that the soldiers over there made the choice to be soldiers. When war arises, the number of people joining the military rises significantly b/c people want to make a difference! Most soldiers are happy that we are actually doing something rather than just sitting around looking mean and letting Sadam...

welcome for the soap box. I don't know where the soap went, though. I might have eaten it.

Keep in mind that being anti-war is not necessarily incongruent with being supportive of soldiers. Vietnam gave that a bad name, but then again, even our own veteran's administration is not very supportive of our vets. They still deny that there is a gulf war syndrome. I'm very supportive of our troops and I hope that both sides have little loss of life; indeed, that is the very core reason I am anti-war, I do not want anyone to die because of any leader's desires. So I hope Neil comes home safe for you along with all our young men. The less they have to fight the happier we'll all be.

meow! meow! last I checked this was america, and you had a right to have your own opinion... I don't agree, but that's just my opinion... I am getting very mellow in my old age.... besides if everyone had the same opinion, there would be no cause for debate, and debates are fun....
ps. I hope your boy comes home unharmed....

The heat makes me tremble and the clean smell I savor in a moment that lasts an eternity. My senses focus on everything as if THEY know time passes and moments end. I am once again a child caught in the form of an adult. The child knows there ARE no such thing as decisions, only actions. With the vast knowledge of youth I know...

wow. he is there? you must be worried sick.

i am a strong advocate of supporting our troops. i feel as though the best way to support them is to bring them home.

tomorrow, the event will be at the federal building, at 5. I will be around people holding up a "UC against the war" sign. Or they will know where I am. If you go, look for me. I have long blonde hair, and will be wearing all black, and a bondage belt..

i was in DC this weekend to protest the war.. this is some very frightening stuff..

as far as your jewelry question goes, i would never pierce anyone with plastic jewelry. the only material that i will pierce with, in fact, is surgical steel. most common piercings can be changed within a few weeks to jewelry of other material, but i would definately not recomend putting plastic into a fresh piercing.

i totally understand your view point
i come from a military family
i know what you are going through in that respect
but i think this is all wrong
we aren't focusing on the real threat, the place the nuclear weapons and missles would come from, N Korea
i wonder why, oh because they would nuke someone
this is a bullshit war
it is
we didn't even finish what we started in afganhistan
we forgot about the guy that did have the attacks organized
yes we do have freedoms and food, but are we really free
seriously
i don't feel free, nor do i feel that my voice is represented by my leaders
ugh
i wasn't arguing, just venting
have fun in the woods

A few associates of mine when camping in Penn. in January one year for some strange reason. There was drinking and then there was naked wrestling and then there was a trip to the emergency room for the frostbite on their unmentionables. I seem to recall it making the news in one those "look at what these idiots did" type segments. Glad to see that you're taking precautions against such revelery.

Thank you for the sympathy, but I'm probably blowing this out of proportion. It was just that thinking about it got me a little down. Again, thanks for the kind words, though.
