Easter
I know, it's a dandelion, not a daffodil, but, as you may have noticed, I love dandelions, and they are more indicative of spring, for me, than any other flower. The painting is by a woman named Christine Bowen; it's called 'Saint Melangell's Hare II'. I have no idea who Saint Melangell is, but I'll be looking into it.

This was spoken to us in church this morning at the end of a lecture on the resurrection by a German guy named Erhardt. It's commonly believed to be a famous speech given once by Nelson Mandela, but it was written by a woman named Marianne Williamson and has, in fact, never once been used by Mandela anywhere

and yeah, there's a lot that's killing me about the new layout too...like the fact that clicking on someone's name takes you to a weird profile page instead of a profile cum blog. weird. all the snarking on SBs is killing me too, but that's neither here nor there.
I really wanted to thank all the poets, esp. you, Huck and Vasilisa. I would do that by making ya'll my top 5 (whatever significance that has), but every time I try to do that, SG seems to meltdown on me. Obviously I wasn't meant to have "top friends" here
i'm happy to hear that my presence here might be helpful in some way - sometimes I feel that my work, and my aesthetic is so far off the beaten track here that, I don't know, I (might) =
