But Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?!

I come home from work last night to find Evander (the one time Real Deal) Holyfield in a fake (not real deal) boxing match on WWE's Saturday night show.

This was absolutely THE most heinous thing Evander has done since he claimed he'd won his first fight with Lennox Lewis (with Lennox sitting right beside him shaking his head in pure disbelief).

I'd rather watch Holyfiled Vs Ruiz again but for those who need help coughing up a hairball:

Holyfield Reaches For The Bottom Rung

On the actual Television you could see that Evander's muscles NEVER tensed at any point (NO power in the punches whatsoever) and Hardy was overacting his WWE "hurt" body language from the first pawing jab. You can tell that Hardy is faking, for the idiots out there, because his knees are moving like a crackhead's: real knockouts cause the knees to lose tension, maybe spasming a little, but overall they go limp.

The only reason Evander could have had for doing this was promotion... has it really come to this? I know that WWE is popular (with a certain kind of voter... or non-voter) but when I see a great fighter enter a fake wrestling match I still just see our man Joe Louis working Pro Wrestling as a last resort to pay his taxes.

Also note: Evander is RICH. Money was NOT the motivation here.

Anyone else see this disgrace or have an opinion based on the above?

Yeah... "free stuff" was supposed to be funny, but its only funny to service members because they are the only ones who know what the "free stuff" is. Kind of short sighted on my part.
