Looking at PhD programs. Very daunting, very scary, my credits from my Masters may/will not transfer depending on school! I want this so bad my deadline is in December, it feels too close. I'm terrified, what if I don't get in, what if I'm not good enough? Can I afford it? Can I afford not to do it? Knots in my belly, could really use advice, a hug, more info, a winning lotto ticket, donations....

Yep can't actually do any work because I had no computer and no access to anything, but I am still getting paid. Everyone else went through the same thing - it took some of my coworkers 3 weeks to get up and running. The company is somewhat dysfunctional and there is a lot of red tape, but the manager understands and doesn't get upset that people can't work. So for now I'm trying to enjoy having nothing to do.


I'm going to be in Phoenix, AZ and am looking forward to the dry heat plus being there off season. We got a promotional rate with the hotel that includes resort credits plus free drinks every night so it should be a good time.
