Goodbye for now
It is 4:34 in the morning and Ryan is heading to his father's to meet his sister and brother-in-law as they will help him get his stuff before going to Hawaii. His flight leaves at 6:30. My chest feels slightly empty knowning that a wonderful friend will be in a location far from here. Then again my heart is pulsing with excitement to hear what stories he will share with us; his family and his friends. Starbucks will probably become lame as his presense will be nonexistent there. Stagnant it will be for a while.
Working lastnight was not so bad. I had a good time bussing tables really. Working with Luis is a goodthing as he is a very hard working individual. Really going the whole nine yards to accomplish tasks. Seeing a picture of the coworker who recently passed away brought an odd emotion. This framed image was on top of the expo station. Shane, a different guy who works with me, picked it up and gleemed into it. We both agreed that it feels like he isn't gone but on a short vacation and we're waiting to hear his stories. It is official, seeing pictures of people you know that passed away can be a bit challenging. Dang...
