Whither
The American Apparel track jacket is on hold. Instead I purchased this video called Invisible Children, which impacted me on a raw emotional level. This documentary is a bit choppy but allow me to reiterate. It is an independent documentary at its finest as it is done in a low budget fashion as it was filmed by three friends searching for adventure. The premise of Invisible Children is to get to the nitty gritty of civil unrest in Africa. Primarily in southern Sudan and northern Uganda, it displays the unfathomable struggles of life, especially the children who are the primary victims of this 17+ year situation that needs to end. Gripping material that upset me and the majority of the world. Upset at the concept of how fortunate we are despite making issues out of small instances. I plan on sharing this film to whomever I meet and try to educate others and hopefully have others join the cause of helping the people of Sudan/Uganda and many other people in dire need of aid.
