Beyond the fog
Man, it's been a while since I put in a strong entry. I've been working a whole lot since my last true post on the 22nd of last month. A lot has happened since then but during my limited off-time away from work, this cat wasn't too keen on typing about himself. Then again at times I felt like sharing but I was too damn lazy to put effort into it. Talking to friends about what was going on was good enough for me to escape from my own madness. It's a slow night so now I am ready to share what has happened since.
I got to hang out with a woman I wouldn't have expected to lounge-out with. Her name is Stephanie and she too works with me. I met her when I got back from Korea but we never clicked or my memory sucks and can't recall if we did or not. Working as a bus boy, most of the time at work talking to coworkers is very limited. All in all, communication between us was as little as getting paid one peso an hour. From time to time Stephanie would suggest we hang out but I never took her seriously.
Until last week I accepted her suggestion. Coming into work to pick up some tips she stated that we should get together to hang out. Still I don't understand why she wanted to hang out but her reason is that I am a cool person. Pretty vague but I will take it.
The following day we met at Barnes and Nobles to talk. It was nice that we did. She was working while Michele and I went into my work and eat. Stephanie asked how I was doing with that particular issue. She seemed keen on listening to what I said, which was really nice. A highly welcomed feeling that hasn't came my way for a long time. Tomorrow we might be able to squeeze in some time as she suggested we hang out again. I am beginning to really like this girl.
