Music has always been a huge inspiration to me. It can set a mood, a tone, create a character, a world, or even a sense. For me it is, many times, the starting point for any creative process.
Of course I could never actually write and listen to music at the same time-it was always distracting and irritating.
Or so I thought!
You see, I recently discovered that if I'm just writing descriptions or events then music doesn't bother me at all. It's when I write dialogue that it becomes a nuisance!
I guess it's kinda like trying to talk over someone/thing. I dunno. Maybe I'm odd.
Well, yes, I am kinda odd but I mean in that sense.
