Two of my best friends who are married apparently have extremely abusive relationship...i wish i knew what to do .... she calls me and tells me that he has hit her and cheated and all these other things....it's heartbreaking ...but also makes me think of mistakes i could have made but thankfully did not....i pray they can come out of this with a clean break...then again 5 years of marriage is'nt so easily thrown away..... i would it's always funny how your significant other can raise or lower your whole entire belief in your very own value in situations like this..,,.,,

Sounds to me like they are what I call "Stuck on stupid" and unfortunatly there is not a thing you can do for either ..except maybe for listen to them..
although that in itself can open up another can of worms.. sounds to me that they need couples counceling and that does not include bashing each other to a close friend of both of yours
