Procrastination is the way to go if you know deep down that by forceably committing, the end result would be exhausting and of poor quality. Don't sweat the small stuff.
If homeboy is hesitating, let it go. Better for him to hesitate BEFORE anything blossoms as opposed to getting a little something going on and then: BAM, no more. Pretend you don't give a shit if he's interested or not. If he wants it, he'll come for it; don't waste your valuable time and energy.

Not all of us "younger guys" are such a pain in the ass. Some of us can articulate exactly what we want and execute in grand style. Sing it with me now, "one bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch girrrrl...."
