New picture time! refresh..

The entire room was frowning at Emily
they wanted to know if she was crazy or what?
It disturbed them she wrote so many poems
about death,madness and suffering,
Like: a normal person wouldn't do that,
would they?
but they were to polite to complain, so I had to
make a speech about it.
Said I: You know there are two basic approaches in life
some of us try to protect ourselves
hoping no harm will happen to us
We try for damage control
we cover our asses don't we?
while others want to experience everything
and are prepared to take the consequences.
I was making this up.
and one guy in the room
grinned and exclaimed "cool"
under his breath
Of course he was the guy
who'd had four years of latin
in High school and loved Virgil
but hell, we're grateful for whatever comes
aren't we?

Today was my usual
I went to the book store and browsed around
actually, browsing is just a facade
I am really watching the guy behind the counter
he catches me peeking at him from behind my book
and he smiles as he always does.
I have yet, in all my years of living in this town to buy something.
It would mean walking up to the counter
and he will start a conversation
and I haven't (in all my years of living here) come up with anything witty beyond "hi"
so after about 15 min of watching him from afar..
I leave
and get chinese take out
to eat alone.
