Well, I'm just getting over being dreadfully ill. Food poisoning or a stomach-flu or something. Not just me either. All of my kids, and even Crash, who never gets sick.
I've got a "tentative" job offer from an agent/scout with Elite Models, NY. It may mean moving to New York, but this agent seems to be willing to pay for me to get a tummy-tuck and some scar-removal. Absolutely nothing up front, just the typical industry-standard 10% related annual pay after taxes. They're paying a local photographer to do my portfolio for me, and if they like what they see, I may be flying out to NY for a meeting in a few months. Representation would mean steady work, and that would mean a steady paycheck, without all the flipping of burgers and answering of telephones that I have been drearily anticipating.
Not much else to report at the moment. Just that I'm getting really sleepy and should probably take a nice long bubble-bath before calling it a night.
