Well, I'm back from my DISASTER of a trip.
Here's the short story.
As if 8 flights in 12 days weren't bad enough, I got sick on the first day of my trip. Then my husband. Then all 3 of my kids. On the trip back to England, my youngest started throwing up and had a high temperature. I've had a migraine-level headache for the last 5 days, and it will not stop!
As for the SG-set.....
My location was messed up by some family who I actually don't even talk to. The Weather was shitty for the outdoor shoot.
My mom's health is slowly getting worse. RIGHT before a scheduled brain-surgery (another one) She gave herself a concussion, and it looks like she's actually cracked her skull, and may have hemmoraging. Her surgery is put off until the 2nd of November now, and she has another head-CT tomorrow to see what's going on. Aside from her ailing health, she was incredibly fun to hang out with. We even went to a strip-club together.
My parents grounded me if I was so much as 5 minutes late coming home after school. My 15-year-old brother on the other hand has had a live-in-girlfriend (who has now been moved out and knocked up for several months), and his best-friend is a gang-member... catch this... The best-friend is now threatening my brother's life. There will be a court-case around Christmas to prove that my brother is the father of his ex's baby (who'll be born soon), and then there will be a major custody battle. The girl is 14, a drop-out, and has at LEAST drank alcohol during the pregnancy. Her mother (and only family who wants anything to do with her) is living in a hotel-room with 3 kids. And we have proof in her own handwriting and voice-recordings that she has been telling viscious lies about my brother (pretending he raped her).....
I am trying desperately to get down there for the hearings, as I would rather DIE than let an innocent child be raised by the 14-year old druggie slut who raped my brother, and her crack-ho mother who abandoned her own kids years ago and only began faking an interest when she heard one was knocked up. Plus I would rather raise a 4th child myself than risk the dreaded American Foster-Care System.
I was actually having a pretty good time while I was in Nevada. The trip was entirely too short though, and my ass is way sore from sitting in a plane for 22-hours straight on the way home.
Anyways, Sorry that there's no pictures yet. I'll work on it still. But hey... maybe it's a good thing that I'm not an SG yet. It might give me a better chance to get custody of my brother's kid (if it is indeed his chilld)
How has everybody else been? I've got some SERIOUS catching up to do.
