I got my final ankle surgery today. They removed the screw that held my tibia and fibula bone together. I had no idea it was so BIG! It was like 3" long, 4.5mm thick. I'm so stoked though, after almost three months on crutches I'll be able to walk in about a week stoked.
I had a pretty great day today. Surving the surgery was cool and all, the morphine and vicadins were fun too. But, I hung out most of the day chatting with my Mom. I love my folks, I'm so lucky to have great parents.
My roomate helped me drop off the Hot Rod to get some work done this afternoon too. Stoked.
This weekend should be super fun. I'm gonna try to catch the Pretty Girls Make Graves show tommorow at the Showbox, and then Saturday my buddies band is playing this super insane "Back to School Carnival Party." Bands, Dj's, four floors of bars. Should be soo fun. I'll post pics for sure.
