I switched my venoms to shorter barbells today. They are way more comfortable now, but it was a really long and slightly painful process to change them. It took me forever just to get one of them out, and I changed that one...up to this point it was ok. Then I couldnt get the other one out for anything. I twisted and twisted and twisted....nothing....finally my dad offered to do it, he did it no problem, but he gave it a little tug as he was doing, which isnt exactly comfortable on a fresh piercing, the shorter barbell also hurt a tiny bit going back through that hole...but now they are in, and all is good with the world.

I also told my parents about my septum. I didnt really want my mom to know, because she hates them, but at the same time it wasnt fair to me to have to hide it. Out of respect, I am going to try to keep the retainer up when I am around them, but if I change the jewelry, or forget to put it up when I come home, I dont want it to be a big deal.

Full day of work today....it was long, but good money, another full day tomorrow. Im gonna get my iPod (well, technically iPhoto) really soon. Maybe as soon as wednesday.

I also filled out the forms, and am registering for classes at Purchase tomorrow. Brothers birthday is tomorrow. NIN is 6 days away. Parents are being supportive. I am becoming more organized, and neat. Life is looking up.
