Well today I had a half a day of work, so after that, I headed over to sacred to get my Septum and Venoms pierced. I was possitive about the Septum, but not too sure about the venoms, because i have a short, pointy, narrow tongue (that sounds way worse than it is, but yea, I wasnt sure how they would look). So Brian said that he thought that they would look fine, so we proceed across the hall to his little shop.

He sets up, blah blah blah, the usual. So he asks which I want first, and I wasnt sure, so he suggested the septum because I definately wanted it. So we do that, he takes his time lining it up as usual. so then he massages what i think was a recieving tube through the soft spot in my septum, just to loosen it up make the piercing easier. He pierced it, no problem, the retainer was a little bit too narrow, so he opened it up a little, he actually ended up taking it out once, but i dont remember why. It bled for a really long time, finally it was done, totally satified.

Then he made sure I wanted to do the venoms too, of course I did. So this is where it got complicated. He marked the top, looked great, but then when looking at teh bottom, he couldnt see my veins. He spent what must have been about 20 min, half an hour, just looking for my veins, marking and remarking the bottom. So finally he guessed at where my veins would be, and figured that they couldnt be that large, because....they werent particularly visible. So then it was kinda rough lining them up, he didnt feel comfortable doing the tongue freehand, and I dont blame him, I had to swallow a couple times with with the clamp, and thought that I had slipped from the clamp, there would have been no way he would have held onto my tongue without it. So yea...the first one goes, no problem...It was kinda painful. Not as intense pain as my conch at all, but it was there for slightly longer....I guess just because it had to go through so much more flesh. It bled some...not really sure how much. Brian went and got me water, I drank most of it, I dont mind drinking blood. Never really grossed me out. Then we had to figure out how to orient me for the other one, he had me lie down....it is more comfortable that way, like he said. Went in, bled some more. Payed. Went back over to the main shop, had some more water. He took a couple pix of my conch punches that he did.

Then I went to Hunter to chill with some of my old friends. It was tres cool. (I dont speak french, just wanted to say that). Hung out in the gay room (its the room for the student gay club type thing) with Wil, Mel, Gil, and Jen. (Mel and Gil are bi, Jen I dont know about, and Wil is straight) I met Chad. Hes a gay porn star that has been featured on HBO...I actually saw an episode of pornucopia that he was on...wierd shit, lol. Hung out for a while, also got to see Melani and Waylon. Then on the 6 train to Grand Central, I saw my former dorm mate Shari, it was hella cool. She just turned 21 yesterday. I am probably gonna go visit my old dorm next week. Ok, enough rambling.
