Feeling good today and loving summer weather. I think the other day the unreasonably overcast skies we had been having for the first week of summer were really getting me down. I realized that I really need heat and sun for my summers. I am a warm weather guy, though I am ironically very pale and nature clearly prepared my body type for a much cooler climate than this California sun.
Sadly I was out a bit too much celebrating the return of the sun yesterday and I am now completely baked and red!! I need a good sunburn cure for anyone who knows one. I used Aloe, but that is about it.

Beautiful Whiskey, I know that weather pattern too! I did archaeology in Britain for the 2000-2001 season and had to be out in it until my fingers froze (not joking) and I finally gave up. THAT was a helluvah winter that year. All the flooding...TOO much rain for me. My poor California sensibilities were shattered!!! It took years to recover!! Now whenever it rains I remind myself I was in London when it didn't stop raining for even a second in whole months. At least your country has intellectuals and it respects them!!
