I am not sure if this is relevant to post here, but then I am never sure what IS relevant to post here...so here it goes: I hate Facebook and I am leaving. I actually get significantly more out of SG and blogging here, posting here, being part of groups here, etc, than Facebook. In addition, I tried to friend GoGo on Facebook, because her page on here pretty much encourages that, and Facebook banned me from making friends for a week afterwards...on the basis I was "spamming." This is all clearly a steaming pile of horseshit, I hope you agree...So I tried to write Facebook to complain that they had no right to suspend my ability to make new friend requests, but guess what I found out...You CAN'T!!! Screw those motherf#%king bastards!!! There is NO way to contact Facebook at all. I spent the better part of a year trying and you can't. The best I got was some geek who was not clearly affiliated in any meaningful way with the company writing me back on a help page.
I say down with Facebook. There time is up!! I have made a pact with my friends to leave by the end of the year, but some have already left even earlier. I hope if you have Facebook accounts you will migrate toward Google+ or suggest to me some better place to go. I love my SG, but I have family I don't want introduced to this world that I will keep in touch with on Google+, so I am going there. I don't appreciate that Facebook has NO concern for customer service and couldn't care less if I don't like the kind of changes they are making to their site. If they cared at all what I thought, then maybe I could accept their business model, but the fact they have no interest in my thoughts at all has taught me a lesson: Facebook are pure evil. They are in it for the money. That is not hip or cool. That is corporate evil, pure and simple. No one should support that or accept they have to be part of that for any reason. You don't have to make a deal with the Devil just to keep your friends. There are better places on the internet to keep in touch. Ask everyone you can to find a different place to go besides Facebook. They are only going to get worse until we all delete our accounts. It is the only thing that MIGHT change them. I am not even sure about this making a difference anymore, but at least it is all you can do!!
