on top of not being able to see bury your dead on monday.. my house got put into water that was 15 or so feet high.. seeing as how my celings in my house are only 9 feet high.. that would mean the water was up to my roof. yes i live in new orleans (st. bernard to be exact) and the levee (which holds water from the river in place) "broke". now one time in the late 60's there was a big hurricane that came through new orleans.. the area of st. bernard was flooded due to new orleans officals dynamiting the levee's.. yes they flooded hundreds of residents to save the downtown area.. now this is a much bigger hurricane, what do you think they did this time ?!

yes i lost my house, my car, some pets that got left behind, some of my sisters pets that got left behind. thousands of dollors in old comic books, comic cards. a 2 thousand $ computer. my sisters computer and all the other possesions in my house. i did however take my hardrive with me. too very few clothes.

we are staying in Houston Texas. most of my friends and family are accounted for.

houston and the state of texas have been great. giving us louisiana and mississippi residents free food, and or discounted food/clothes and other needs.

i want to say thank you to all the members in texas. new orleans wouldnt be so kind.
