so a LOT of new albums have come out recently, or are about to come out these are ones i.... well lets say "obtained".. one way or another

1. as i lay dying - shadows are security
2. darkest hour - undoing ruin
3. throwdown - vendetta
4. avenged sevenfold - city of evil
5. sinai beach - immersed
6. Hawthorne Heights - the silence in black and white
7. evergreen terrace - sincerity is an easy disguise
8. on broken wings - its all a long goodbye

here is my review:


1. as i lay dying,
this is the best album thus far from the band.. so fucking sick. great energy. good breakdowns. heavy guitar solos.
a must BUY


2. darkest hour
the self proclaimed heavest metal album of the decade... has made me a believer. hard hitting in your face, great guitar work as usual.
a must BUY


3. throwdown
if you liked dave's vocal stylings on "haymaker", then you are in for another good one. it's hard to not be bias with throwdown they are just off the hook to me. edge band.. come on ! dave's vocals do sound like phil a. from pantera, but hell how can i not like pantera seeing as how i use to hang with the guys...
a must BUY... for me at least


4. avenged sevenfold
now the first album "sounding the seventh trumpet" was good, but "waking the fallen" was better. the latest installment.. just really blows goat nads. total poo.
sounds like the singer took some singing lessons.. not a bad thing, but he just sings like a sissy the whole album.

5. sinai beach
i myself like this album very much. it's got some good changes in it. keeps it interesting. very good sound.

6.Hawthorne Heights
emocore band with a good sound. not too popie. the whole album is good.
good buy


7.evergreen terrace
now i love evergreen seeing them live just gets better everytime.. this album isnt all that great. it's not too bad, but it's not what i would expect from evergreen. some of the album is really mellow and soft. it's not really that bad, but i expected more heavy shit. some of the songs are repetitive, some in a bad way.

8. on broken wings
ever since johnny cupcakes left to do his own thing.. the band has gone downhill. this album isnt that bad, but it's nothing compared to "Some Of Us May Never See The World".
