Traded a subwoofer I had laying around for a Canon T1i kit. Kit lens is pretty alright, but I'm looking forward to getting a 50mm F1.8 prime lens. I feel I'll have to master the 18-55mm lens prior to getting anything else. Also have to scoop up a tripod to get better night shots. All in all, DSLR is a bit of figuring out.
Also made a total of 3 car audio competitions this year. Placed at least second at all 3. Pretty pleased with the results. Next year I may step up a little more.
