Well I guess it's time for an update. No one really reads this, well except for maybe two people. Two's better then none, right?
Anyway, my probationary period at my job is almost up. This means I have to get my CDL ASAP. I've read the book an I'm sure I'll do fine. It's just finding time to take it. I'm so busy. School, two jobs, sleep. That's a lot of stuff. I've been trying to read regularly, too. I just finished chuck palahunik's book, haunted. I liked it a lot. It takes quite a bit to get me to read. But I really like his literature. I picked up requiem for a dream, I look forward to reading it. I liked the movie and I was told the book is even better (aren't all books?).
Kayla's still having a hell of a time with her parents. She'll be moving out on her birthday. I'm excited for her. I still need to get my plane ticket to visit her. I'm glad I didn't get a ticket for the originally planned date, because we changed the date. Lol! So I need to hurry up and get a ticket so I can finally meet and be with the girl I adore so.
In other news, I want a big rig. I mean a big semi. No trailer, just the truck. I've been watching too much trick my truck on CMT. I'd customize it and it would be pretty stupid to have, but a boy can have dreams!
I spent too much money at the record store the other day. I went to get himsa's new record, but ended up with others. They had exactly what I was looking for, but I found other stuff I wanted. Norma jean re-released o' god the aftermath with a dvd and an extra song. I had to have it. I noticed it dies today had (what I thought was) a new one. I was disappointed to find out AFTER I paid that it was, yet again, another re-release. I picked up remembering never's new one. Excellent album speaking about feminism, vegetarianism, god,abd of course, politics. I started leaving and something in the back caught my eye. It looked like a record with a red jacket. Nothing but red. Could it be? It is! I found the isis live 2 record! I was so stoked! I snatched it up and proceeded to the register. At the check out the lady tells me that I'll get a gift for getting the re-released norma jean album. Cool. I like limited edition stuff. Turns out it's a jar of barbecue sauce with a special label! How cool is that! I'm such a dork.
So if anyone wants me to love them for the rest of their life, get me something cool and limited edition. Like kid robot toys, isis stuff, botch stuff, stuff you just can't get in the states. I love that kinda stuff.
