ok hardcore is officially dead in the state of connecticut...
shows here are now a joke. dont come to a show and leave after your buddy's band plays. stay and support the other music. every band that goes out there to play a show has worked hard to present their creation to you; yet you turn a blind eye to it. promoters...FLYER YOUR DAMN SHOWS. what happened to the day of when a show was something fun to go to, you would enjoy the music, dance around with your friends...instead people choose to stand outside the entire time because of fucking lame excuses. they are as follows...
"im broke" - yeah youre broke huh? i see you had enough to pay $10 for your pack of cigarettes (nothing against smokers)
"its too loud" - then why come to a show to begin with? its not going to be like having your precious i-buds in.
"i dont like this music" - again why come to the show if you dont like the bands that are playing
there are so many more but my brain is moving at about 100mph right now that i cannot even put half of my thoughts into actual sense.
i believe the lyrics to the gorilla biscuits some "new direction" paints a good picture of what im trying to say. go listen and read the lyrics....kids today would not know good music if it slapped them right in the face...
as for everything else going on i have fallen in love with playing halo again. sorry. im a nerd. get over it. also in about a week i get to visit someone i have been looking forward to meeting for a long time. im going to do everything i can to make this person smile the entire time.
in closing to the bitchfest my blog was...everything in life happens for a reason, we can let the little things bother us, but we can not also let them pass us by. its the little things in life that make the air worth breathing and the world spin. may it be friends, family, pets, whatever. cherish everything moment you have because you never know when the rug will be pulled out from underneath you.

when i was at Death before dishonor the other night i wanted to punch my face to the opening bands, it was horrible. Local bands are shitty. Most bands that are made up of 17 and 18 year olds who like parkway drive but not madball shoudnt have fans. I HATE THEM THEY ALL SOUND THE SAME. this is why i go late to see the bands i want to see and leave. they all suck.
