The joys of jury duty tomorrow. I have no chance of serving (since I'm the plaintiff in a different suit), but I've gotta spend the next week sitting in a room.
In other not news, Mindy got hitched successfully (again). They got hitched a couple months ago in Sedona on the top of a mountain.
Scanning some pix in the next couple days. I won't...

Off to see a friend get married.

Unfortunately it's true, I'm 35
Enjoy the wedding.

To answer your questions:
1. "Why is talking to you disrespectful if I'm married?" That was taken from my myspace account. myspace & SG are 2 different animals. To explain, the 1st email I ever got on myspace was from a married man wanting to meet me for a sexual encounter. myspace is srtickly for promoting & networking, not "hooking up" I wanted that to be very clear to anyone reading my profile.
2. "I mean I'm not hitting on you, there's no chance that I'll ever do anything with you, and I'm not even slightly interested in anything sexual with anyone who's not my wife. How does having a friend (who happens to be female) disrespect anyone?" I'm very glad to know there are still a few good ones out there. Unfortunately my experience with marriage was not so good. My ex husband used the internet to find women to have affairs with, so I think u can see where I'm coming from. Of course there are exceptions to every rule. I do have a few male friends on SG that are married, but like I said SG is much different than myspace.
I hope that clears it up a bit

So, I've been exploring my artistic side recently. Apparently I don't have one. Tried painting (water color mostly, 'cause it's cheap), got out my old horn, wrote some short stories, did some drawing.
Well, you know that feeling that you get when you complete a piece that makes you want to do it all over again? I don't. Just got nothing. No pride, no joy,...

try some photography. It's techy and artsy.
I was sitting here, thinking about going for a drink after work. It just occurred to me that it's been almost 2 years since I had a drink. Don't get me wrong, I haven't quit, I just can't afford the down time. Gods, but the idea of a vodka gimlet is really sounding tasty to me. Hmmmm, later than I thought. *sigh* Looks like my...

It's amazing what throwing a hissy fit will do to relieve your status as a tower of fury.
I am a towering pillar of fury.

Thank you for the comment on my set

I just choose to be the optimist. My patron saint is Magdalene or Magdalena as I seen it also. I did a thesis on ST. Joan of Arc, and I have done numerous papers on the first and second century Christians.
Sainthood is sacred, suffering is our greatest joy and therefore not a suffering at all. St Louis De Montfort. True Devotion to Mary....

Was lounging around last night (after putting my wife to bed), thinking about places that I've been. England, Scotland, Ireland, Denmark, France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxumbourg, Germany (though it was West Germany one of the times), Switzerland, Monoco (though it was just in passing), Italy, Poland, Mexico, Canada, 35 of the 50 states (though to be honest, most of the states were just...

Thank you so much for your lovely compliments.
Chin up! You are not a whiner but a Saint, that is what care givers are!

I understand completely. I see this in my patients families daily. this is a grieving process that is so hard because your loved one is with you but not able to be the way things were. It hurts and it's sad and it sucks. We take what we get and love with all we have. That's the human spirit for you. Saint's don't all have crappy lives!

As you can probably tell from the last post, I've been running through my older music selections and reminding myself why I liked this stuff in the past. Some of my recently rediscovered music (in no particular order and with no particular genre):
Dog Show - The God Bullies
Dopes to Infinity - Monster Magnet
Superjudge - Monster Magnet
Unsane - Unsane

"When you said alright
I thought you meant alright
When you said that's fine
I thought you meant that's fine
Well there is the answer on the tip of my tongue
There's the bubble on the face of the moon
There's a chamber that should always be full
Who brings you back when you're gone gone gone...
Who keeps saying your prayers when you blow...

Thanks for the nice words on the thread. And in response, I didn't start the discussion to gripe, I meant it to be a thank you to the PSW's that I had found encouraging.

about public posting. My fear is that fox is evil and a lot of people share their work on myspace not knowing that fox can exploit it all they want.
