got the initial plans for the house. need a couple minor modifications, but looks good. we should be breaking ground on apr 15. about that time, i'll be dropping to 1/2 time. all is good with that.

in traditional form, life feeds me something good and something bad at the same time. spent the last week bedridden with pneumonia. even better, i seem to have given it to the weef. there's nothing so fun as breathing in deep and hearing the popping sound of bubblewrap coming from your lungs.

last weekend (before the foul lung goop took over) saw the 300 and the last mimzy. 300 kicked ass, though i have a number of issues with it from a historical standpoint. if you gloss those over, was a fun flick. like the fact that they glossed the violence over and made it so cartoony. made the battle scenes a fun romp instead of a gorefest. mimzy was an interesting movie. was very well done, but couldn't decide if it wanted to be a kids flick or a serious movie where the protagonists were kids. good effects, interesting story idea. b+
