So, April 19th, I mentioned that someone used a raisin and a small sheet of plastic to do $1200 of damage to their high end laser printer. Today, I went back and worked on it again. Seems that someone was looking for a special effect (I should mention that this printer is in the Art Dept at the school that I work at) and decided to take it on themselves to modify the fuser to the tune of another $500. Yes, that's $1700 in just over 2 weeks. College students is s. m. r. t. smrt!

In other non-news, the pineapple cake did actually turn out to be a big steaming pile. The lime cake, though... I'll hafta make another one so that I get a piece this time.

Lastly, was going through some old crap recently, and found the art for the tat that I was gonna get a couple years ago. Cashflow after my wife broke her neck kinda removed that from contention, but I'm still jonesing for it. Someone offered to do it for free, but I'm not looking for a prison tat that I'm gonna regret for the rest of my life. (The guy made his own needle, so I was also a bit concerned about hep, etc.) Ahhhh, well. Desire is supposed to heighten satisfaction. Guess I'll find out.
