The city where I live has the highest per capita restaurants in the Wisconsin, and some of the highest (outside tourist meccas) in the US. You'd think that competition would crush the ones that suck. You'd be wrong. In the last 3 weeks, I've been out to eat 5 times. 3 of the meals where complete shite, and they were all in established restaurants that have been around for a while. One of the two restaurants that I went to where the food was good has just gone out of business...
